The premier conference on negotiation worldwide

The Negotiation and Leadership Conference is a Harvard-wide event focused on exploring ground-breaking topics related to negotiation as a leadership competency. This groundbreaking conference was started in 2008 as the first Harvard-wide conference organized by students on the topic of negotiation with the goal of taking an innovative and practical look at issues that are either under-studied or otherwise that are trends shaping the field of negotiation. By combining discussion on these issues with leading scholars and practitioners from business, law, government and academia, the event was focused on providing a unique platform for those looking to significantly enhance their intellectual foundation and practical skills.

Since then, the conference has become one of the most prestigious events at Harvard and is now broadly recognized as one of the most influential gatherings of thought leaders on negotiation in the world. In past years, the conference has established a track-record for offering inspiring speakers, engaging workshops, stimulating panels, and powerful networking opportunities. The conference is a highly acclaimed event that has been featured several times on the NBC/WHDH channel in Boston and has received favorable coverage in the Harvard Gazette and Harvard Crimson newspapers where the event was recognized for its groundbreaking and successful programs. It is the most anticipated Harvard-wide conference on negotiation and the premiere conference on negotiation worldwide.

The conference brings together an impressive array of academics and professionals (including business, community and government leaders from around the world) as well as alumni and students from Harvard and beyond. Hosted by the Harvard Negotiation Alumni Society, the event is a collaborative effort by alumni, faculty and students from various Harvard schools (including Harvard Business School, Harvard Kennedy School, Harvard Law School, etc) and enjoys support from a number of institutional centers at Harvard including the Harvard International Negotiation Program at Harvard Law School and the Charles Hamilton Houston Institute at Harvard Law School.
